After signing the contract with JKC Ichthys LNG Joint Venture on February 1, 2012 for the Module Fabrication of Ichthys Onshore LNG Facilities, STP&I has progressed the early works and fabrication works as planned and now preparing to start the module assembly in a couple of months.
The Structural Steel Fabrication has been commenced at STP&I’s two fabrication shops, Chonburi Shop and Rayong Shop, since March 2013. The current fabrication progress is approximately 5% and the target date of fabrication completion is December 2014.
The Piping Fabrication has also commenced at STP&I’s Sriracha Pipe Shop on 26th June 2013 and the pipe fabrication will continue until the completion during early 2015.
In the meantime, module foundations & supports are under preparation at STP&I’s Laem Chabang Module Yard and will be ready for commencing the module assembly in September 2013.
